U - 15 Tournament Team

Lehigh Laxfest Tounament June 20 -21, 2009
Bethlehem, PA

The Next level U-15 Team was also undefeated (3-0) in the Lehigh Lax Tournament held on June 20 & 21 @ Lehigh University. In the quarterfinals they played the elite "Trilogy" program from New Jersey, winning 4-3 in an overtime "Braveheart"! The boys were down 3-1 in a spirited and competitive game when Joe Jordan single-handedly dodged four players and scored, bringing the Next Level Team within one goal. I minute later, Brady O'Donnell scored on an awesome feed by Gavin Fuller to tie the game and send the game to overtime.
Gavin Fuller competed in a Braveheart along with Goalie, Jackson Szerley. On a nice assist by Jackson, Gavin scored a breakaway goal securing a "walkoff win!
The semi-final game began and was cancelled a short time later due to the weather.

NESLL/Bulldog Lacrosse Classic June 26-28, 2009
Smithfield, RI

We went 0-3-1 there, with one loss in OT and one loss by a goal during regulation.

 

UMass Amherst Mid-Summer Classic July 11-12, 2009
Amherst, MA

Down a few numbers, the team was a little sluggish during their first game Saturday morning, and lost to the Jr. Astros by a few goals. Things turned around quickly, and the boys went on a four-game winning streak beating DuxLax, Central CT, Team Superstars, and the Seacoast Snipers. We lost to the EMass Jr. Minutemen in the playoffs.
